Associate professor of Medical Physics at the University of Pisa. PhD in Physics in 1998 and specialist in Medical Physics in 1999. Her research activity is focused on the study of solid state detectors and their application to medical imaging. She is principal investigator of the project INSIDE for the development of an imaging system to monitor the quality of the cancer treatments during hadrontherapy sessions.
